What happens in Vegas will most likely not stay in Vegas.

Sony will host a "massive" two-day community event called "PlayStation Experience" in Las Vegas this December, the company announced today.

"We've been planning this bad boy for some time… and with PlayStation's 20-year anniversary just around the corner, the timing couldn't be more perfect," PlayStation social media manager Sid Shuman said in a post on the PlayStation Blog.

PlayStation Experience attendees will get to attend panels, meet developers, and go hands-on with upcoming PlayStation games. They'll also have a chance to get free swag and buy rare collectibles directly from game studios. The show will also feature an "exclusive first look" at PlayStation's 2015 software slate.

The event will be held December 6 and 7 in Las Vegas at a "huge" venue. One-day passes will sell for $50, while two-day tickets will go for $90. It is unclear how many tickets will be sold, but Shuman said "we'll have plenty of room and plenty of games." More information about PlayStation Experience, which is open to people 18 and older, will be shared on October 20.

If you are unable to attend PlayStation Experience in person, or if you'd rather stay away from sin city, Sony assures fans that it will share announcements through its blog and via live video. Further scheduling and programming details are coming later.
