The new bundle will be available at SFV launch

Sony is bundling PlayStation 4 with pretty much all of the big games that get launched for the console, and now we can tell you that Street Fighter V PS4 bundle has been confirmed.

Street Fighter V has been in the works for a long time, but it's finally approaching the launch date, which should be February 16, 2016. The game is made by Capcom (who else), but it had a really different and interesting development cycle.

The studio made sure that people had ample access to the Beta version, and it's scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, Windows, and Linux. You can see that the Xbox One platform is missing from this list.

Capcom signed for an exclusivity on the PlayStation 4 platform but managed to get Sony to agree to a Windows and Linux release, probably by explaining that the two markets don't actually intersect.

There is no information about an expiration date for the Street Fighter V exclusivity on PS4, but if it set to expire at some point, it will be at least six months after the official launch.

Exclusive PS4 bundle is coming to a store near you

"An exclusive PS4 bundle will be available on 16th February when Street Fighter V makes its console debut on PS4. The bundle comes complete with a 1TB Jet Black PS4, Jet Black DS4 and physical copy of Street Fighter V. Availability will vary by country, so please check with your local retailer. The path to greatness begins here: RISE UP!" the announcement on the official PlayStation blog reads.

The key expression is "will vary by country," which means that it won't be available globally, or at least not at first. Street Fighter V is one of the most anticipated games of 2016 and the year is just beginning. The fact that Windows and Linux players will also get to play this is the cherry on top.
