The highly-anticipated Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has just had another trailer released, hot on the heels of the official launch footage that was aired last week. The latest Sekiro gameplay trailer from FromSoftware showcases the breathtaking environmental design and the combat arsenal of the shinobi, amongst other things.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is going to be released worldwide on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on 22 March. FromSoftware definitely isn't pulling any punches, and fans of the developer's work have been hungry for as much information as possible about the game ever since first impressions at E3 2018.

The official Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice YouTube channel has just posted up yet another trailer for the game. The Sekiro gameplay trailer hammers home the reason for the shinobi to be on his vengeful quest, and also shows off the many combat abilities that can be used by the player as they navigate the Sengoku-inspired world created by FromSoftware. The shinobi's prosthetic arm is given much more attention in this trailer compared to previous footage released about the game, and we learn about the many ways that it can be used to dispatch even the deadliest of foes: a flaming vent, a grappling hook, a loaded axe, a loaded sword, and even a loaded umbrella to keep enemies at bay.

From the Sekiro gameplay trailer, we can see that the strategies available to the One-Armed Wolf when others think that he's down for the count. The way that the respawn mechanic works is given more attention in this trailer: the shinobi can get a second chance at life if he's slaughtered by a foe, but if he doesn't manage to get a killing blow then dying twice will have more permanent consequences.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice also looks like it has a particular focus on one of FromSoftware's usual elements: ensuring that you learn the move sets of your enemies for maximum success. It doesn't appear to be just a matter of throwing yourself at the nearest bad guy repeatedly until you figure out when to dodge roll; the Sekiro gameplay trailer shows the shinobi taking to the rooftops to eavesdrop on unsuspecting enemies for a tactical advantage, which suggests more of an emphasis in the game on preparation outside of combat. With only a few days left to go until its release, we're sure that there will be more footage released by FromSoftware to build the hype even further.
