Logitech is teaming up with eSports Interactive Entertainment and has announced the Logitech G – Free2Play #3 LAN gaming tournament in India. The tournament will be held in Bangalore on 31st May, and will end on 2nd June. This season, games played in the tournament will be Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2.

While online registrations started earlier this month, they will go on till 30th May. Players can register for the event through the eSports Interactive Entertainment community forums for free. Those who participate stand a chance to win cash prizes and Logitech G gaming peripherals.

Karthik Rao, business head of eSports Interactive Entertainment said “We are happy to see Logitech take initiatives to promote eSports in India. We have had good participation during Season #1 & Season #2. The participation in Free2Play tournament had doubled last season. We hope to see similar result this season. The Dota 2 tournament will be broadcasted live on Twitch TV as well as inside the Dota 2 game client through Dota TV. After the match ahs ended, the recorded games will be available for streaming through YouTube.
