Microsoft revealed that Quantum Break is coming to the PC platform, and also made games aware of the huge system requirements. Now, the developers from Remedy Entertainment have adjusted the recommended system requirements at a more reasonable level.

The Quantum Break PC announcement was accompanied by a lot of other related news and by some strange reactions from the community. It turs out that some people got really upset with the PC announcement because they were led to believe that it's going to be an Xbox exclusive.
The fact that Microsoft gives the game for free on the PC, if you pre-order the Xbox One version, hasn't appeased the troubled fans. In any case, the other big piece of news for Quantum Break was that it's going to be a Windows 10- and Direct X 12-only game. This means that Quantum Break has the pleasure of being the first one requiring a Direct X 12 video card.
Also, the system requirements for Quantum Break were out of this world, especially the recommended ones, and many gamers noticed this. Remedy Entertainment, the studio that makes this game, went back and made some changes that should make people a little bit happier.
Don't get me wrong, the system requirements are still high, but they should be more manageable. They added a new entry named ULTRA and lowered the Recommended ones.
