The next PUBG Xbox One update will focus on addressing known crashes, and will offer some quality of life improvements alongside gameplay adjustments.

According to the PUBG Xbox One development team, the list of fixes included with the first client side update of 2018 has been finalized and the update is being prepared to be send to Microsoft for certification. More details about the upcoming Xbox patch, including contents and release time, will be revealed later on.

The previous Xbox One update was released last week.

PUBG, also known as PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, was released for Xbox One through Microsoft’s Game Preview program last month. The popular shooter is also available on PC through Steam.

The Xbox One release was announced during Microsoft’s E3 2017 press conference. “Microsoft’s Game Preview program allows us to get feedback directly from players, something that has been crucial to our success on Steam Early Access,” stated Chang Han Kim, VP and Executive Producer at Bluehole, Inc. “Furthermore, Xbox Live’s solid multiplayer capabilities will enable us to deliver the most complete Battle Royale experience to players worldwide.”

“We’re super excited to welcome PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS to the Xbox One Game Preview Program!” said Chris Charla, Director of ID@Xbox, Microsoft. “Since its launch on PC earlier this year, we’ve been enthusiastic players and it’s been awesome to see its meteoric rise to popularity! We’re eager to collaborate with the team at Bluehole to bring PUBG to the Xbox One community, especially with console launch exclusivity.”
