Sony has announced on the PlayStation Blog that the PS4 is available in 12 more countries from today. Countries in which the console is released today include the Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece, Slovakia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and South Africa.
We already knew the console would be available in Bolivia, Nicaragua, Paraquay and Uraguay today but that brings the grand total to 48 countries which can now access the PS4, as long as stock is avaliable. The most interesting thing from this piece of news will be to see how well the console takes in these markets and what effect it will have on sales figures.
Microsoft’s Xbox One is only available in 13 countries but has sold over 2 million units so far.
