PC. Love upgrading and changing up the aesthetics of my PC. Plus I got a enormous backlog that will keep me busy for years to come. Its so much more versatile than a console.

The reason to get a console is for the exclusive games, and thats not even a fault of the PC, just asshat developers/console makers screwing over PC gamers.

I’ve always preferred PC. Grew up with one. Plus I could never get used to not playing with keyboard and mouse

You have to go where the games are. PC just has the best experience by far.

I started on PC, moved to XBox, XBox360, PS3, and XBoxOne, but now moving back to favour PC again due to cheaper games on Steam as well as better 3DVR headset support

Dont count much on PC for competitive gaming unless you know what game would be exclusive for competitive gaming. Console gaming is heavily active on competitive gaming with: CoD, Streetfighter, Smash Bro's, DC's Injustice... But, both devices are good for gamers among friends or a team. So, stay social, be a part of a team, voice chat and who know you might just end up in competitive gaming as a career. You might want to look into Dota, League of Legends, Smite, Counter-Strike GO, Fornite for PC... all of which I know of.

The benefit of PC is storage space and in home room space, with pc you dont worry much about a place for a new computer but for bigger storage space capacity. But always have the option for console gaming because if you are into Spider-Man you wont have the luxury to play any SP games on PC because they are exclusive to PS4, unless you find it rip'ed, you will hopefully enjoy the game if it doesn't crash.

You will benefit from gaming having a console because mediocre games are highly advertise for console and is what PC will have for play most of the time, but it's the indie game which gamer are gamer because gaming came from the sole fun to play an action packed game i.e. Super Mario or Mega Man; moreover, 3rd person rpg's are found on console which has more hype than any other game genre and are of most enjoyable because of environment and mechanics.

PC can't ever be cast aside because of its peripherals, you cant ever beat gaming with a keypad and a mouse, too accurate, too competitive. With PC gaming is fun because of it's style and deep roots into technology and gaming. The conversation about PC is highly considered bechause of engineering and electrical careers. I am a PC gamer because PCs are capable of playing games, and PCs like consoles, an exclusive game for a certain device is always disappointing. Therefore, keep you pockets stacked for the next gen of gaming devices and you'll definitely have the bang for gaming.
