Since it launched in 2016, Overwatch has just kept getting bigger – new maps, new heroes, and new gamemodes have all trickled into Blizzard’s hero shooter over the last two years. This week, you’ll be able to play the popular shooter for free.

Blizzard has announced that Overwatch will run a free trial, running November 20-26. The free trial will be for all platforms, including PC, and you’ll have access to all of Overwatch. That’s the game’s current roster of 29 heroes, including newly-released Ashe, plus 19 maps and all game modes.

Any progress you make during the free trial, such as experience gains and cosmetic unlocks, is tied to your Blizzard account and will carry over if you decide to purchase Overwatch so long as you use the same account.

The free trial period also has goodies for existing Overwatch players to earn, too. If you’ve linked your Blizzard and Twitch accounts, watching two hours of Overwatch streams during the trial period will earn you three chibi-style Ashe sprays to use in the game.

If you’re starting from scratch, first you’ll need to download and install Blizzard’s Battle.net desktop launcher, which you can find here. Create a Blizzard account if you don’t have one, and use that to sign in to the launcher.

The trial period begins at 20:00 CET on November 20, and once it begins you’ll be able to download Overwatch by selecting its icon in the launcher’s left-hand column and hitting ‘Install.’ Note that the free trial will not be available on PC in Korea.
