The Outer Worlds made a major appearance at E3 2019. At the press conference for Xbox, The Outer Worlds kicked off proceedings with a trailer featuring both more details about its game universe and some snippets of gameplay footage.

Obsidian has long been an impressive name in the world of RPGs, formed by a team of developers behind such great names as Baldur's Gate and the creator of such titles as Fallout: New Vegas and Pillars of Eternity. Fans are hoping that The Outer Worlds will be another solid entry in Obsidian's roster, with plenty of freedom within its gameplay and an interesting game world to explore. That said, previous issues with game bugs has some worried that Obsidian's talk of pressure and time constraints may leave it not quite ready at launch.

The most recent content revealed about The Outer Worlds may go some way to alleviate those fears, however. During the Xbox press conference at this year's E3 expo, Obsidian shared a new trailer that goes into more detail about the corporate-run worlds of the far reaches of space, with plenty of violence to boot. The trailer in question can be seen below.
