The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Minecraft will soon be updated with a long list of changes and additions that are already available in the PC version, the developer behind the console ports of the game 4J Studios has announced.

4J Studios has submitted Title Update 14 for testing with both Microsoft and Sony. When it’s released, players will notice a huge amount of new items, including new blocks, potions, and special items like carrot on a stick, which allows you to ride animals for faster travel.

Other big additions include the ability to trade with villagers, new terrain generation features (Desert Temples, Desert Villages, and Jungle Temples), a new Anvil Interface, and much more. You can find the full list of changes on the Minecraft Forums.
