Microsoft promises to fix the VSync problems that are plaguing the games in the Windows Store, likely before the launch of Quantum Break.

Microsoft is really keen on pushing the Windows Store as a gaming platform and it’s clear that one of their goals is to do battle with Steam. They still have a long way to go, but they also have a new weapon. Games from Xbox One are being ported on the PC and released exclusively through the Windows Store.
This is only true for the games that they control, which are of course platform exclusive. These are titles that are never going to be released for PlayStation 4 because they are produced by studios owned or contracted by Microsoft. Such games aim to underline the power of the console and usually push the hardware to the limit.
VSync is a problem Some problems have been reported with VSync and SLI support for games ported from Xbox One and available through the Windows store. It turns out that SLI support needs to be added by developers, but the VSync issue is real and Microsoft wants to fix it.
Microsoft's Mike Ybarra admitted that this is something they are looking into. A user asked on Reddit if they had “any news on w10 store games locked to only 60fps and no sli support.”
SLI support needs to implement by devs, but VSync is another problem. “SLI and Crossfire work, games just need to support it just as always. We will fix vsync,” explained Mike Ybarra.
This hasn’t been a real issue until now because there aren’t any major games being released in the Windows Store, but Microsoft has really big plans. Quantum Break was initially announced as a platform exclusive for Xbox One, but it’s now coming to the PC and exclusively through the Windows Store. Users are worried and Microsoft needs to fix this before the April launch of Quantum Break.
