Final Fantasy's Lightning is starring in French fashion house Louis Vuitton's new ad campaign.

Louis Vuitton's creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere shared the video—"Series 4"—on his personal Instagram, saying that Lightning is a "genuine heroine."

Ghesquiere also writes that the campaign's art is a collaboration between Tetsuya Nomura and Square Enix's Visual Works, created especially for the fashion powerhouse. The clothes modeled by Lightning were previously worn at Louis Vuitton's spring/summer 2016 fashion show back in October—you can watch it on Louis Vuitton's YouTube channel. The first model even from the show even sports Lightning's signature pink hair.

The show is clearly inspired by virtual reality and digital media, and as written on the fashion brand's YouTube page, Louis Vuitton is setting off "to conquer fascinating territory that is today's woman, a complement of strength and fragility." The brand "offers up an exhilarating challenge," saying "the adventure is up to you."

Louis Vuitton isn't the only fashion brand to take inspiration from video games. Earlier this month, Italian fashion house Moschino partnered up with Super Mario Bros. to create a line of gear inspired by the beloved Nintendo character.
