Drinkbox Studios has a new trailer for its latest game to share with the world.

The game in question, Severed, looks to be a swipe-em-up dungeon crawler similar to Infinity Blade. The new trailer, along with its accompanying PlayStation Blog post, shows off new enemies, and a loot-based progression system.

"As you progress through the game’s dungeons, you’ll encounter more powerful boss monsters that each have unique abilities," says Drinkbox co-founder Graham Smith. "Severing these bosses will leave behind carcasses which Sasha can wear to gain abilities. "

Severed will be the studio's latest game for PlayStation Vita, following their launch-title platformer Mutant Blobs Attack, and the Day of the Dead-inspired Metroidvania game Guacamelee! Severed shares those games' pastel art style, though looks to be a good deal darker in tone.

If you'd like to play the game for yourself Smith promises that the game will be playable at Sony's PlayStation Experience this weekend. Our own Severed preview lists the many reasons you should do just that.
