There aren’t yet any games this year with a specific release date later than June, but we’re pretty sure you can already guess which of the usual yearly sequels will be making an appearance at Christmas. But this time they’ll also be joined by Just Cause 3.

It doesn’t have an exact release date but the trailer below proclaims it to be ‘holiday’ 2015, so probably October or November.

Although it doesn’t really offer any new information the trailer is still pretty impressive, emphasising the game’s destructibility and explosion effects.

t’s all pre-rendered though, so that means we still haven’t see any actual in-game footage. Which is slightly surprising with less than a year to go.

The plot of the game features series regular Rico Rodriguez trying to rid a fictional Mediterranean island of its evil dictator, although again we don’t know much more than that at the moment.

Just Cause 3 is being made by Avalanche Studios, who are also working on an open world Mad Max game for Warner. Although little has been seen of that game in recent months, and it’s still unclear when it’s being released.
