Square Enix has announced that the upcoming Hitman game will be a fully episodic title.

The first portion, called the "Intro Pack," will launch on March 11 and consist of a prologue and the Paris locale. The Italy location launches in April, with Morocco following in May. Hitman will then continue to receive regular monthly content updates, according to Square Enix, including locales in the United States, Thailand, and Japan, as well as weekly live events and additional planned content.

The Intro Pack will start at $15 USD, with future locales being released as add-ons for $10 USD each. Players also have the option of purchasing the "Full Experience" for $60 USD up front, which will give them access to all of the year's content. You can also upgrade from the Intro Pack to the Full Experience for $50 USD. A disc version of Hitman will ship sometime later in 2016, according to Square Enix.

PlayStation players will also get exclusive content in the form of The Sarajevo Six, a special set of contracts for Agent 47 to track throughout each locale.

A beta for Hitman will launch on PlayStation 4 on February 14, and on PC on February 19. You can secure a spot in the beta by pre-ordering either the Intro Pack or Full Experience. This change in pricing has likely affected anyone who has pre-ordered the game, as PlayStation cancelled pre-orders of Hitman yesterday ahead of this announcement.
