'Hitman Go' lands on PS4, Vita and PC next week
The acclaimed mobile game makes its way to new platforms in a 'Definitive Edition.'

Hitman Go is an incredible mobile title that launched in 2014 and spawned a new line of subtle strategy games from developer Square Enix Montreal, including Lara Croft Go. Now, the Hitman Go: Definitive Edition is heading to PlayStation 4, Vita and PC via Steam on February 23rd in the US (February 24th in Europe). The Definitive Edition includes the full game and all of its add-on content, featuring updated visuals, for $8 (€8 / £6.50).

The game is cross-buy and cross-save on PS4 and Vita, meaning if you purchase it on one of those platforms, you automatically get it on both. Plus, your saves transfer between the two systems.

Hitman Go is basically a sleek, digital board game that combines logic problems with spatial puzzles. Players slide Agent 47 along pre-set tracks, attempting to avoid guards, dogs and other obstacles in order to take out his target. In a review of the mobile game, Joystiq called it "softly smart and marvelously complex despite its simple exterior." We'll see if that finesse translates to the big screen next week.
