Halo: The Master Chief Collection is one of the biggest Xbox One launches of the fall of this year and the development team at 343 Industries working on it is ready to reveal the official line-up of multiplayer playlists that will be offered once the game is officially out.

There are some changes and updates made to the information that was offered about a month ago and everything is laid out in a lot of detail on the official blog of the franchise.

343 Industries states, “The Team Hardcore playlist will launch only with Halo 2 Classic tournament-approved game types. Behind the scenes, we’re working to integrate Halo 3’s custom map variant files into the playlist, and they aren’t quite ready just yet.”

After an undisclosed period which involves testing and integration, the Halo 3 maps will also be added.

The dedicated playlist for Halo: CE is also on hold because at the moment the game experience is not delivering the same quality as the other content included in The Master Chief Collection.

343 Industries adds, “The current Halo: CE experience will be playable in custom games, as well as the Team Slayer and Big Team Battle playlists, but we are holding on the dedicated playlist until we are able to provide the best experience possible.”

The playlist will be moved to 2 versus 2.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection will get improvements in the near future

The developers are also keeping an eye on the forums and on social media in order to keep track of feedback from gamers, and it seems that one of the changes that are already in the pipeline is the one linked to the size of the sniper rifle.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection delivers remakes of the four core titles in the series for the Xbox One and gamers can experience both classic and updated gameplay.

For now, there are no plans to also update ODST or Reach.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection also allows gamers to watch the new Nightfall live action series, which is designed to introduce a new major character called Agent Locke, which will have a major role in the future.

343 Industries is at the moment also working on Halo 5: Guardians, which will be introduced in the fall of 2015.

Recent gameplay leaks showed both sprinting and scoping changes included in the game, which generated disapproval among the fan community.
