343 Industries has not offered a free downloadable content pack for Halo 5: Guardians in March but the new Ghosts of Meridian is set to drop during next week, with the developers at 343 Industries finally showing off the full list of new REQs that gamers will be able to get and then use in battle.

The new armor, the various vehicles and the weapons are all designed to appeal to fans of the series and to give them more options when they explore the classic maps of the shooter and the coming Tyrant, which is designed for Capture the Flag and Assault, and Skirmish at Darkstar, which will be used in Warzone.
343 Industries says that it has designed both environments to offer unique tactical challenges and that they integrate feedback that has been offered by the fans since Halo 5: Guardians was launched.
The studio explains, "The match starts on a map overrun by enemies as Darkstar is initially under control of a Promethean Scout and his forces. Players are Pelican dropped facing the center of the map, the team who gets the Takedown will have the initial advantage."
Gamers will have to battle Endurance-of-Will, a powerful Knight adversary, which is why they have access to new versions of the Scorpion and Mantis.
The REQ list includes Bluesteel DMR, Grinder, Corpse Maker, Tartarus' Gavel, Razor's Edge, Song of Peace and Money 8s.
The launch date for Ghosts of Meridian is not set in stone 343 Industries is planning to deliver more information during a live stream that will be offered via Twitch on Tuesday, April 5 at 3 PM Pacific Daylight Time, which probably means that the actual DLC will be delivered on either Thursday or Friday.
When Ghosts of Meridian is live, the developers will also post a full list of the changes that they are making to the core mechanics of the shooter and of the bugs that they are eliminating.
Until April 4 fans of Halo 5: Guardians will be able to play the Warzone Turbo mode, which was initially created by 343 Industries to test changes to the game.
The company has promised to offer free DLC for its Master Chief powered video game all through the first year, and the big milestone is the delivery of Warzone Firefight, which is an entirely Player versus Environment experience, at some point during summer.
