The development team at Rockstar and publisher Take Two are getting ready to launch the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 versions of Grand Theft Auto V next week and the two companies are asking the support of players to make sure that the delivery of the improved version of the title goes as smoothly as possible.

In an announcement on the official site, the company states that it is relying on dedicated fans to deliver information on any technical issues that are affecting the core game or the Online mode and that feedback can also include suggestions for future mechanics and content.

Rockstar claims, "We have, of course, tested the game extensively but there is no way our several hundred testers can be quite as comprehensive as millions of players! Please bear with us should any issues arise - we will be working hard to fix any problems that arise, and generally ensure this launch is as smooth as possible."

Gamers who get the Xbox One or the PS4 version of GTA V are encouraged to use the support site and the official inbox for feedback.

The development team at Rockstar also says that it will deliver a title update for Grand Theft Auto V on both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 on launch day, designed to tweak some mechanics and optimize the overall experience.

The studio adds, "And get ready for continuing free content Updates for Grand Theft Auto Online, including the highly-anticipated launch of Online Heists (which, to be absolutely clear, will be available for all four consoles to enjoy)."

The open world game will receive a number of updates on the new platforms and they will also be included in the PC version, which is at the moment set to arrive in January of next year.

Up to 30 players can enjoy the experience at the same time, finding new ways to interact with the city around them, and a new character creator will mean that all player-made characters will look better than ever.

GTA V also introduces a new first-person point of view, with seamless switching back to third person, designed to offer an entirely new take on the core mechanics of the franchise.

The upgrade also includes more content for the radio stations and an improved damage model which will make combat more interesting.
