Gameplay definitely over graphics for me. Though I consider story as a very important component of games.

Gameplay is very important. I understand that story now a days are important. However I still prefer the old school games wherein all that mattered is killing the bad guy and moving on. Then playing the same game over again. Never got bored.

Gameplay for me, nice graphics are good to have but I'd rather something enjoyable played smoothly on my laptop and pc rather than be all about the graphics. Not to mention the cost of game development now, maybe if focus was taken from graphics we'd see less buggy games at launch as well.

No doubts Gameplay. Graphics are just an extra fancy feature that make game more enjoyable. If gameplay sucks, you won't stuck on game long.

Gameplay, without a doubt. Graphics without gameplay is nothing although a game can be good with good gameplay and not so great graphics. Eg: Original CS.

Well, after playing Metroid for NES this past week for over 30 hours, I say game play


Graphics are awesome but man, if the story sucks and/or game play is off who cares how pretty she is!

On campaigne grahics must be good but in multi gameplay must rule

Gameplay everytime! Used to be really into gfx but these days just a casual gamer on my xbox so the game needs to keep me interested!
