Video game developer The Coalition and publisher Microsoft are announcing that they are planning to launch the Ultimate Edition version of Gears of War, which was recently announced on the Xbox One, on the PC.

The companies are saying that the tech and the graphics of the series have been improved, and players will get support for mouse and keyboard, but also for the classic home console controller and the newly announced Elite one.

It seems that the newly announced title will only be offered on Windows 10 and will take full advantage of the new features introduced by the DirectX 12 integration.

The Coalition has also explored how gamers engage with Gears of War in order to make sure that they get the best experience when it comes to both single and multiplayer.

The development team is currently testing the changes it has made to the game in a beta period that is only offered for one week on the Xbox One.

They have also suggested that they might have bigger announcements about the PC future of the Gears of War series, which might mean that the new fourth title in the series will be coming to Windows 10 at some point.
