Windows is preparing to launch Forza Motorsport 6: Apex for the PC, a modified version of the Xbox On exclusive Forza Motorsport 6.

Forza Motorsport 6 is just one of these games and the team is now putting together Forza Motorsport 6: Apex, which is supposed to be a cut-down version of the Xbox One original. The PC version will be free.
From the looks of it, Microsoft wants to turn the Windows Store into a real competitor and their primary target is most likely Steam. The company is ready to sacrifice sales and to make a real push for this initiative, and Forza Motorsport 6 seems to be the tip of the spear.

"Notably, all the titles Microsoft featured will have variants available on the PC.
