There are already Fortnite PS4 and Nintendo Switch bundles, and now Xbox One is getting one as well. The $300 Xbox One S bundle launches this week in the United States, and, among other things, it comes with a cosmetic set that includes the Eon outfit, Aurora glider, and Resonator axe.

It also includes 2,000 V-Bucks, which is enough to buy the upcoming Battle Pass that is expected to launch with the upcoming Fortnite Season 6. The package also comes with 1-month trial codes for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass.

This new bundle is notable given that less than a year ago, the only battle royale game Microsoft seemed to pay much attention to was PUBG, which it had an exclusive deal with. Microsoft already released a PUBG Xbox One bundle and a PUBG-themed controller.

As for why Microsoft is now hyping up another battle royale game, it's pretty obvious: Fortnite is pretty much the most popular game on planet Earth right now. Not only that, but Microsoft's deal with PUBG may be ending soon, as the game looks like it's headed to PS4.

Fortnite Season 6 begins on Thursday, September 27. It will presumably include a new battle pass to purchase, along with something do with a robotic llama DJ. We might also finally learn what the hell that whole purple cube drama was all about.
