Ten years is a long time to be working at one game studio, and Polish publisher and distributor CD Projekt Red know how to celebrate a decade of service in style. Cyberpunk 2077 quest director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz has been working at the company for a decade and posted photos of his ten-year anniversary gift to Twitter.

In case you’re not up to date on all the latest Cyberpunk 2077 news, that leather jacket with the samurai decal is a recreation of a jacket worn by the game’s protagonist V. Alongside the jacket, Tomaszkiewicz also received a suitably cool black briefcase with a plaque commemorating the anniversary.

Earlier this year we wrote about a 15-year anniversary gift Activision Blizzard sent one of their employees, so it looks like this heartwarming trend is catching on.

Tomaszkiewicz has been at CD Projekt Red for a decade and has worked on two The Witcher games, not to mention Gwent and Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales – so you are a few years behind if you want to earn one of these for yourself.

We already know that clothing will play an important role in Cyberpunk 2077, changing your V’s Street Cred level and offering buffs to defensive stats. When quizzed about the stats of the Samurai Jacket in a reply to the tweet, Tomaszkiewicz teasingly posted: “Increases Street Cred leveling speed by 5%” and offers 30 resistance to physical, thermal, EMP, and chemical stats. With no official confirmation of what stats will appear in Cyberpunk 2077 this tweet is the potential clue, despite being followed by a winking face emoji.

After a sumptuous gameplay reveal this year, we’re eagerly awaiting more news about CD Projekt Red’s upcoming cyberpunk RPG, but in the meantime we’ll just have to fawn over this really rather awesome jacket.
