In a dastardly turn of events, a Fortnite player sabotaged a rocket viewing party and now holds the all time solo kill record.

Fortnite’s rocket finally launched this weekend, and left a crack in the sky over the map. Players gathered to watch the event, with a temporary truce being held for a few minutes, but one player took advantage of the moment and used it to wipe out 48 players in one fell swoop.

Elemental_Ray, a player with a k/d ratio of 0.47, is now sitting at the top of the leaderboard for single match kills in Fortnite after destroying a ramp holding 48 players who had gathered to watch the rocket launch, topping the previous record of 33 kills.

Despite the varied responses he’s received for his method of setting the new record, Elemental_Ray seems to be enjoying the limelight, with the pinned tweet on his account displaying his recent accomplishment.

Twitter post : "A dude with a 0.47 K/D and a 0.60% win ratio now holds the ALL TIME SOLO KILL RECORD.

He broke a ramp that help 48 people during a Rocket Viewing Party.

Absolute legend.
