Challenges are a big attraction in Fortnite: Battle Royale, and alongside the standard weekly ones that continue to be introduced as part of Season 6, the new Fortnitemares Halloween event has brought with it even more. A new batch of challenges is now available, with more to come during the event. Among the first set, the most challenging one tasks you to dance with five different gargoyles.

In the video above, you can see the locations of different gargoyles and get some guidance on where to go. Once you've arrived at a gargoyle, you'll simply need to perform a dance emote to earn progress toward the challenge. You can't return to the same gargoyle again, but fortunately you can earn progress across multiple matches. That's good news, as some of them are fairly far apart, and as per usual, you'll find players camping near some in order to pick up easy kills by picking off would-be dancers.

Fortnitemares launches as part of a broader update, patch 6.20, that also provides a pumpkin-themed look to the rocket launcher and introduces new AI-controlled enemies to contend with in a special Battle Royale mode. There's plenty more going on, and Fortnitemares even extends into Save the World for those who own the early access game.
