Which Final Fantasy is the best?

Currently playing through all of the final fantasy's, I'm at FFV right now. The first one was good, the second was also good, third was okay-ish, fourth was really good and this one is really good too. I hear 13 is kinda shitty?

What are your thoughts?

Mine is FF7 and FF8, racked up so many hours trying to max out every character's level.

FF9. I am pretty sure I have played it start to end at least 4 times. Never got the excalibur speed run thing though. I did try twice.

Can't wait to get to FF7, apparently it's unreal. But it sounds like all of them are great until like 13 or something. I think I'm only gonna play up to 13 and leave it at that.

Damn now I wanna run home and play FF5 :P
