The development team at Ubisoft in charge of Far Cry 4 is ready to reveal the official television spot for the open world title, which is designed to introduce potential customers to the world of Kyrat and the way gamers can influence it a little over one minute.

The footage includes some very cool moments and serves as a highlight reel but it will be hard for someone who does not know anyone about the game to catch all the mechanics that will be included in the title.

Ubisoft explains, "You are Ajay Ghale. Traveling to Kyrat to fulfill your mother’s dying wish, you find yourself caught up in a civil war to overthrow the oppressive regime of dictator Pagan Min. Explore and navigate this vast open world, where danger and unpredictability lurk around every corner. Here, every decision counts, and every second is a story. Welcome to Kyrat!"

A television spot for a video game is hard to calibrate because it needs to catch the eye of gamers who, during the coming two months, will have to decide which video games they plan to get in time for Christmas and which to ignore until they show up on sale somewhere.

Until now Ubisoft has not said exactly when and where it plans to show the TV spot.
Far Cry 4 and the evolution of the open world

Far Cry 4 is set to be offered on November 18 on the PC, the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the Xbox One from Microsoft and last gen consoles.

The core element of the title is an open world that can be explored at will by the player, who can choose to follow the core story missions or to simply wonder looking for activities to try out.

Ubisoft says that it has improved the fire fights in Far Cry 4 by making all enemies smarter and by introducing more options, including an ability to use elephants to charge down enemy barricades and a more realistic representation of fire to force groups to scatter.

The game is also designed to have more player choice than before, with the decisions that gamers make set to impact the world around them in interesting ways.

The title also has some mystical elements that gamers can take advantage off and Ubisoft is also offering a Season Pass, which will come with some unique content that includes the ability to hunt Yetis.
