Bethesda has finally released a patch that brings support for new add-ons and Workshop, for Fallout 4, along with a host of other improvements.

The most important feature that ensures that all Bethesda games live on for years and years is the ability to mod. Users really like to mod their game and to change it in ways that weren't even dreamed by the developers. Some studios frown upon this possibility and go out of their way to block users, and others completely embrace it. Guess which games are played for longer?
The previous game from Bethesda, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is still being played today, and the fact that there are thousands of mods available right now played a big role. Fallout 4 is a really good game, and it's going to have a long life as well, but it doesn't seem to have captured the imagination of players like Skyrim did.
New Fallout 4 update is ready for download Even if the first updates for Fallout have been really unimpressive, it seems that the developers are finally making some progress. This is the second major update for the game in less than a month, and it's also full of surprises.
The developers have explained that support for add-ons has been added, additional art customization has been added to Workshop, the Super Mutant clutter now includes meat totems, meat bags and meat cart, many new signs gave been added, some stability and performance improvements have been implemented, Settlements under attack will now display an updated message and an issue with trying to sprint while in third person with a minigun equipped has been repaired.
Also, an issue where Calvin Whitaker would disappear in Vault 81 has been corrected, an issue with key cards not spawning correctly in Vault 75 has been fixed, the Scribe can now be assigned consecutive settlements properly, and numerous other small issues have been repaired.
As usual, all you have to do is open Steam and wait for the game to be patched. There is no information about the release of the patch on the supported consoles, but it should happen fairly quickly.
