If you own XCOM: Enemy Unknown and want to try Evolve's BIg Alpha, you're in luck.

Want to play Evolve's Big Alpha on PC but don't have a code? If you own XCOM: Enemy Unknown you're in luck.

Publisher 2K's community manager Stephen Reid announced via the game's Steam page that if you already own XCOM: Enemy Unknown, you can now download and participate in Evolve's Big Alpha. Just check your Steam library.

To find out what the Big Alpha includes and if your PC can run it, check out developer Turtle Rock Studios' announcement from last week.

After hitting Xbox One first on October 30, Evolve was supposed to launch on PC and PlayStation 4 yesterday, but has been delayed on the latter due to network difficulties. Last night, 2K released a statement saying that "2K, Turtle Rock Studios, and PlayStation continue to work hard to resolve the difficulties affecting the Evolve Big Alpha on PlayStation 4," but hasn't said when it expects to resolve the issue.

The Big Alpha ends on Sunday, November 2.

In Evolve, four players fight together to take down a fifth player, who takes on the role of a monster with unique (and deadly) attributes. The game was originally targeted to launch this year, but was delayed to February 10, 2015. Turtle Rock previously created the Left 4 Dead series.
