The reviews for Dragon Age: Inquisition, including an extensive one from Softpedia, are now live, but the developers at BioWare and publisher Electronic Arts are continuing to deliver trailers for the game, which are designed to introduce the various characters that gamers can recruit in their fight against a massive evil force that has opened the breach in the Veil.

Varric was one of the most interesting characters in Dragon Age 2, an unreliable narrator that was at the center of events in Kirkwall and changed his story based on the demands of his interrogator, Cassandra.

BioWare says, “He is as loyal as they come, and well-known for his stories of embellished proportion. Despite his jovial persona, few enemies live to regret crossing him. Those on Varric’s bad side are introduced to Bianca, his faithful crossbow.”

The new trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition does not feature any sort of new gameplay and even the depiction of the character is somewhat darker and grittier than what is featured in the actual game.

Varric is one of the most humorous party members and he is always bantering with the rest of the potential recruits.

The new role-playing game title will be officially launched on November 18 in the United States and on November 21 in Europe on the PC, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and last-gen consoles.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is accessible even for newcomers

Dragon Age marks BioWare’s attempt to create an original new fantasy setting after it was no longer able to work with the Forgotten Realms universe that was created by Wizards of the Coast.

Origins, the first title in the series, was very successful, but the sequel, set in Kirkwall and featuring Varric, was a little rushed and many players were disappointed by the limited scope of the experience and the combat mechanics.

With Dragon Age: Inquisition, the studio is aiming to satisfy long-term fans by creating a massive set of locations that can be explored and by giving them plenty of tactical choices for the combat sequences.

I have played the experience for more than 70 hours already and the quality is very good, even if there are some details that are annoying.

Fans of the genre and the series should pick the new title up as soon as possible and clear their gaming schedule for the following weeks in order to at least get through the core single-player story.
