DotA 2: Natus Vincere Will Form a New Roster for the Upcoming Tournaments

Natus Vincere today announced that they will be forming a new roster for the upcoming DotA 2 tournaments. The organisation had to disband the previous roster due to poor performance and results in the official games. There were already rumors about the news, but the organisation officially announced it today. Natus Vincere (Na’Vi) revealed that Danil ‘Dendi’ Ishutin and Akbar ‘SoNNeikO’ Butaev will remain on the team as both were consistent during the matches of the tournament. They will also be responsible for deciding their three new team mates. The three players chosen will join them on “probation” to create the “optimal roster”.

The COO of Natus Vincere, Igor “caff” Sydorenko, said,

We are glad to announce that Danil and Akbar will become the core of our renewed team. We are sure that their talent, energy and aspiration to work will contribute to the achievement of the set goals. Meanwhile we continue working to determine the players, who will join us in the near future. Stay tuned!

Although Na’Vi used to focus on the squad based on Russian and Ukrainian players, it is expected that the new players in the team will be from other countries.

The players from Vega Squadron and Virtus.Pro are unlikely to leave their team due to The Frankfurt Major. Moreover, Team Empire also finalized their roster for the upcoming DotA 2 tournaments. There are some rumors that the players from ScaryFaceZZZ or CIS Rejects will join the new roster of Natus Vincere in DotA 2. But we have to wait till the official announcement from Natus Vincere.
