The development team at Bungie announces that it is planning to bring back the Ride Along feature associated with Destiny in order to give fans of the social shooter a closer look at the teams and the experiences it is creating, with the first installment set to take place on March 2 on the title's official Twitch channel.

The official announcement states, "Join us aboard the Dreadnaught for a continuation of a series in which we explore art and design – like a creative post-mortem in a combat zone. Senior Artist Andrew Hopps and Senior Designer Brian Frank will be our guides on a tour of Oryx’s inscrutable loot-filled fortress."
According to the studio, the audio team that works on Destiny will then be invited to talk about the way they have put together the sound effects, the music and the dialog of the game.
The coming installment of the Bungie Bounty event will be focused on the leadership of Clan Resolute as the development team wants to show off the benefits of being part of a group of players with likeminded ideas and aims.
The studio also promises that it will soon offer more information about the big spring content update for Destiny, which will introduce a Light increase as well as new gear for all Guardians to use and new challenges for those who value the Player versus Environment part of the social shooter.
The amount of new activities and items introduced will be equivalent to that delivered when The Taken King expansion was launched in the fall of last year.
Destiny will also receive a paid expansion later in the year Bungie has been recently criticized by its player base for the fact that its events, including the recent Crimson Days for Valentine's Day, failed to deliver interesting activities to keep them engaged.
The studio has also been testing a range of tweaks to the matchmaking system for Destiny recently, and it seems to have decided that the best idea is to focus on the quality of the connection of the involved players, with filters used in order to make sure that newbies and hardcore players are not matched up against each other.
It's unclear whether future changes are planned, but the company has promised that it will communicate every time it is adding something to the system and then take feedback into account.
The company has sent out a questionnaire, trying to find out why gamers have abandoned the social shooter and what it would take to get them playing again.
According to information from publisher Activision, there are plans to introduce a paid expansion for Destiny later in the year, probably in the fall, but details about it will probably only arrive later in the summer.
A full sequel is planned for 2017 and rumors are saying that it was initially set to be launched this year but Bungie, and the publisher decided to delay it to make sure that they can deliver the quality that gamers are expecting.
