Crunchyroll is teaming up with Loot Crate to bolster the subscription box company's anime and manga product, Loot Anime.

In the announcement, Crunchyroll said the partnership will give Loot Anime subscribers access to merchandise from "the latest streaming content and licenses available from Crunchyroll" in addition to "exclusive access to Crunchyroll content."

The anime subscription box will keep its name and monthly price of $25 USD, but will feature Crunchyroll branding.

"The partnership has already begun — Loot Crate joined Crunchyroll at the anime convention Katsucon last weekend in Washington D.C., where they sold Loot Anime crates in the Crunchyroll booth," said Dallas Middaugh, Crunchyroll's Head of Brand and Community. "[Crunchyroll] branding and products will follow in the near future, along with other exclusive benefits."

Loot Anime began its run in November 2015. Since then, its featured items from anime such as Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, Fairy Tail, and Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers.

Crunchyroll also announced a partnership with Bioworld Merchandising — a company that works with brands like Nintendo and Marvel — to produce anime apparel and accessories. Middaugh said that the first products will be available later this spring.

Jacob Shin, Loot Crate's VP of Marketing, said that "it's very likely" we'll see products from Crunchyroll's new line from Bioworld Merchandising available in Loot Anime.
