The Crew is at the moment in the process of launching and the development team that has created the new open world driving experience is ready to deliver a first major patch for it, which is designed to eliminate some of the issues that have been reported during the final days of the beta testing period.

When it comes to gameplay, the company explains that all Drivehub challenges are now active and all the gamers who reach the second zone of the title will be able to join a faction and enter a special mode.

The group that emerges victorious at the end of the current month will be able to access 2 new faction missions for each region of The Crew, and the mode will be reset for another 30-day period.

A full list of the changes introduced to the racing game in its day one patch can be seen at the bottom of this article.

Ubisoft claims that both the stability and the performance of The Crew have been improved significantly and that a number of random crashes have been eliminated.

Gamers should also see improvements for matchmaking and connectivity and a slight re-design has been applied to the user interface.

The Artificial Intelligence of The Crew is also better at challenging human players and the servers are better able to deal with cooperative and solo players.

Ubisoft says that the first patch is comprehensive and all those who have other problems with the racing game should contact the official support for the game in order to make sure that their bugs are registered and addressed in the future.

The Crew is the last racing title of the year

The Crew is designed to introduce a virtual version of the United States of America that gamers can explore at will, choosing what types of events they want to focus on and the way their cars will evolve.

The entire experience aims to be very social, encouraging players to join others in cooperative campaigns that deliver extra rewards and to face off against human players in races that power the Faction Wars feature.

It’s unclear when a second full patch for The Crew might be introduced.

Downloadable content packs have already been created at Ubisoft and will start to arrive in January of 2015.

Those who are ready to order the Season Pass, which covers four drops, will be able to access the McLaren 12C and the Ferrari 458 Speciale.
