Battlefront II is diving deeper into the Clone Wars in its next season of content, and the new heroes and villains will be brought to life by some appropriate voice talents. General Grievous, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Count Dooku, and Anakin Skywalker will all be voiced by the same actors who portrayed them in the Clone Wars animated series.

Today, EA and DICE confirmed that when Grievous hits the game on October 30, he’ll be voiced by Matthew Wood. James Arnold Taylor as Obi-Wan will follow in November, Corey Burton as Dooku comes in January, and Matt Lanter as Anakin will be with us in February. They’ll join existing voices like Dee Bradley Baker as the clones, Sam Witwer as Darth Maul, and Tom Kane as Yoda in bringing together the better part of the Clone Wars cast.

Many of those voices go as far back as the (excellent) 2003 Clone Wars series from Samurai Jack creator Genndy Tartakovsky, and there are even some direct reference. The Reddit announcement notes some of the voice lines that you can expect, including “Make peace with the Force now, for this is your final outing” – straight out of the original animated series.

Players sticking with Battlefront II have been waiting a long time for the Clone Wars content to hit. The new heroes – including General Grievous – and a new Geonosis map were announced back at E3, and there are still a few more weeks before we even see the first part of those additions. At least they’ll be free and properly voiced when they hit.
