Capcom has provided full details on the upcoming third beta for Street Fighter V, which begins tomorrow.

Similar to the last closed beta, the third beta, which was rumored to begin this weekend, will feature specific playable characters at the start and more will unlock throughout the three day period.

According to Capcom-Unity, Ryu, Birdie, Cammy, Necalli, Nash, and Laura will be playable, with Dhalsim and Zangief confirmed to join later, as well as the potential for a “few more character surprises.”

It should be noted that every build of the game seen at conventions and online during betas and stress tests have had tweaks to each character as Capcom continues to find the sweet spot for balancing the roster.

Previously, the Street Fighter V betas have only offered the ability to play against other players in ranked matches and a training mode while players await new opponents between matches. Capcom appears to be opening up Ranked and Casual Match Modes, as well as Training, the Capcom Fighters Network, Battle Settings, where players can customize profiles and configurations, and an Options Mode to manage screen and sound settings.

The third beta will open on December 18 at 12:01 am PT for PlayStation 4 and PC users and conclude on December 20 at 10:00 pm PT. During the course of the beta, the servers will be brought down twice for 10 hour maintenance each time. Check out the full schedule below to plan your weekend around the beta accordingly.
