Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has had a very successful launch month and the development team at Sledgehammer Games and publisher Activision want to celebrate the contribution of the player community by allowing them to get some free content as long as they play it before December 1.

The special Nigerian Command loadout is offered for all those who play at least a little of the first-person shooter on any platform, and the exclusive content will not be offered at any point in the lifetime of the game, which is somewhat surprising given the company’s strategy to monetize content.

The official announcement says that the Nigerian Command items are all designed to offer a unique look that will allow players who have supported the shooter since launch to distinguish themselves on the battlefield.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare allows gamers to unlock new content for their character by simply playing the game and by getting access to supply drops, regardless of the mode that they are currently using.

The new mechanics was initially badly received by the community, but since the shooter was launched, fans have been happy with the rewards it has delivered.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is already bigger than any other entertainment launch

Activision has already announced that no movie or album launches this year generated more money during its first week than Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, but the company has not offered any details on the number of copies the title delivered to customers worldwide.

The development team at Sledgehammer Games has also confirmed that the Exo Zombies game mode, which involves waves of undead attacking players as they use teamwork to defend themselves, will be part of the Havok downloadable content pack.

The DLC is at the moment supposed to be delivered in early 2015, although no clear date has yet been mentioned, and it will be first playable on the Xbox One and the 360.

The Exo Zombies mode will have a narrative thread to be continued in the other three content packs for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, which will also include a range of new maps and weapons.

The new shooter is one of the most innovative titles in the franchise, with the exo-skeleton allowing gamers to reach new areas in maps and dodge enemy attacks.

Sledgehammer Games is also allowing players to customize their characters in more ways than before.
