Good news for Diablo 3 fans, as Blizzard has just confirmed Season 2 will begin two weeks from now. No matter your region, Season 2 will start on February 13 at the same hour.

As many Diablo 3 players probably know by now Blizzard already announced that Season 1 will end on February 1, so this would be a good time to start preparing for the start of the new season.

For those who aren't up to date with the Season 1 end times, here are the details provided by Blizzard earlier this month:

- North America: Tuesday, February 3 @ 4:00 p.m. PST;
- Europe: Wednesday, February 4 @ 4:00 p.m. CET;
- Asia: Wednesday, February 4 @ 4:00 p.m. KST.

Now regarding the Season 2 start time, Blizzard has just announced that the upcoming season has been especially set to debut on the same hour on all three continents:

- North America: Friday, February 13 @ 6:00 p.m. PST;
- Europe: Friday, February 13 @ 6:00 p.m. CET;
- Asia: Friday, February 13 @ 6:00 p.m. KST.
Era 1 will end on February 3, but a new Era will begin immediately

On a side note, Diablo 3 player may want to know that Era 1 has been confirmed to end at the same time as Season 1. This means that all current non-Seasonal leaderboard standings will be wiped and players will be unable to attain new leaderboard ranks until next Era begins.

As mentioned earlier, this will happen on February 3, when Season 1 is set to end on February 3. However, Blizzard stated that Era 2 will begin immediately after the end of Era 1, so there will be a gap of several days between the start of Era 2 and that of the Season 2, which will begin on February 13.

This means that all heroes made during the Season will become non-Seasonal and will be immediately able to compete on the Era 2 leaderboards.
