Video game publisher 2K Games is at the moment teasing a new project that does not have an official name but might be a new experience linked to the BioShock franchise because it features some of its core elements.

At the moment, the company is offering some Twitter based images linked to the new game and an official teaser project but no information about the genre, the name or the core features.

Advent seems to image a future in which human beings can live even longer, as long as they stay in some protected areas of a metropolis.

The site states, "The gleaming towers are specifically designed to utilize space in efficient ways never before seen, as well as provide the comforts and amenities of a resort. Each living unit is outlined with the very best in high-tech comfort and utilitarian style. Protected 24 hours a day by Advent forces, citizens can have a peace of mind with the knowledge that their families are always safe."

It is unclear whether 2K Games is planning to make an official announcement about the coming video game soon or if there are plans to continue the teasing campaign for a while.

The publisher might be simply trying to see how the public reacts, with an actual reveal coming at E3 2015.
The new title might be linked to the BioShock franchise

There's a lot of speculation about the kind of video game that 2K Games is planning to reveal and who might be in charge of the development process.

The most popular guess at the moment is BioShock, because the teaser campaign features a new kind of city, which will be a location with clear limits, and gene therapy, which sounds very close to splicing.

Other groups of gamers believe that the new title might be linked to XCOM or might be an entirely new intellectual property.

There is also speculation that this is a System Shock title that will act as a prequel for the series.

Rockstar is also rumored to be working on a new title for 2K Games, although no details about Agent have been offered for a long period of time.
