Director Zack Snyder confirms that reshoots for Justice League are currently ongoing. Months after news of the Snyder Cut officially releasing broke out, additional work on the much-clamored version of the project is imminent. Reports claim that Cyborg, Batman, and Mera will be back on the set for new scenes, as well as villains Deathstroke and Joker.

Justice League's troubled production has been the topic of conversation for years. Even after it was confirmed that the Snyder Cut is releasing via HBO Max, it continues to draw controversy due to Ray Fisher's claims of abuse and toxicity on the set of the film after director Joss Whedon took over the film. There's no verdict yet regarding the matter as Warner Bros. conduct an investigation about the allegations the actor made. Meanwhile, as the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League nears, the filmmaker and necessary cast members are working on the scheduled reshoots to further flesh out the original vision for the troubled film.

Taking it to his official Twitter account, Snyder shared an image of the clapper for his Justice League. It features the logo for the project with the name of the director on the side. Check out the photo below:

With no caption and context given, it's difficult to gauge whether or not this image is taken on the actual set of the Justice League reshoots. Nevertheless, it's enough for fans in the comments section to be very excited and understandably so considering what it took for Snyder Cut to be released. Initially, backers of the movement were content with rolling out whatever Snyder shot during the film's principal photography which he was able to finish before walking away from it due to a personal tragedy. Now, not only is Snyder able to share his original plans for the film, but he's also able to properly finish it thanks to additional funding. The Justice League reshoots, coupled with its reformatting to a four-part limited series also allows the filmmaker to fully realize his overall DCEU plan despite no having the opportunity to work on Justice League 2 and Justice League 3.

Aside from the reported characters who will be factored in on the Justice League reshoots, it's curious if there's anyone else from the cast who's supposed to reprise their roles for additional scenes. Henry Cavill, who plays Superman, previously stated he wouldn't be returning for it, although his comments were made before the reshoots were officially announced. In any case, considering the fact that Snyder is expanding on Deathstroke's role beyond his appearance in the post-credit scenes, not to mention physically featuring the DCEU's Joker, it's safe to say that the HBO Max project will be significantly different from what the public saw on the big screen in 2017.
