Liev Schreiber has talked to Hugh Jackman about returning as Sabretooth for Wolverine 3.

Schreiber, who played Wolverine's formidable foe-bro in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, confirmed the talks with Jackman to MTV News at the Oscars on Sunday.

"We talked about it," said Schreiber. "I don’t know. He’s mentioned it to me. The Old Man Logan story — that’s appealing. That’s something that I can do. Old, being the operative word."

Jackman has teased Victor Creed's return in the past, after asking fans what they would like to see in his last hurrah as the popular comic book character.

Although Wolverine 3 isn't slated to hit theaters until March 2017, speculation has been that the story will adapt Mark Millar’s Old Man Logan tale from the comics. Schreiber's quote seems to add credence to that chatter.

Fox is targeting an R-rating for the film and was planning to do so even before Deadpool's success.
