Kid Cudi and Kanye West’s relationship had seemingly soured in recent weeks, following Cudi’s tweetstorm aimed at ‘Ye, and ‘Ye’s fiery mid-concert response. Clearer heads prevailed, however, with Kanye going so far as to call Cudi “the most influential artist of the past 10 years.” Now, with their beef hopefully behind them, a previously unreleased collab from the two MCs has surfaced online — and, fittingly enough, it finds them calling out their haters.

As Complex points out, the snippet appears to be an early, Kanye-featuring version of “Too Bad I Have To Destroy You Now,” from Cudi’s 2014 LP Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon. Kanye sounds mad as hell on the rough cut, contributing a fiery (though clearly incomplete) verse where he raps, “Surrounded by fake n****s/ And fake bitches tryna get in my ear/ What about gold diggers?/ Yeah I got ‘em.”

He and Cudi later link up on the swaggering but mellow-sounding hook: “People talk shit about me, deep down they knowin’ they ain’t right/ When I walk in the room they can’t look in my eyes.”
