At the end of the first Lego Movie, Will Arnett's Batman gave his blessing for his girlfriend Wyldstyle to be with Emmet, saying that Chris Pratt's everyman was the hero his 'babe' deserved. That left Batman sans parents and a girlfriend, but it doesn't look like he'll be alone for long. Take a look below to see a new clip from The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part that shows Batman falling in love.

In the live action realm Batman is no ladies' man but in the Lego world, we get to see a softer side of the character and it is quite the hilarious sight. Will Arnett's Batman and Tiffany Haddish's Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi are quite the pair, but it isn't love at first sight. Batman is, as he says (because bat puns never go out of style), a Bat-chelor and the first time he sees the Queen, he is repulsed when she turns from a horse to an alien octopus thingy.

That sets up an entertaining turn when Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi eventually wins him over, appealing to The Dark Knight's interests. Then a wedding is planned for her and the Man of Bats, with the Caped Crusader even getting a white and completely out of character suit. Seeing the grizzled and brooding hero get all lovey-dovey when around the Queen is very funny and that dynamic could be one of the highlights of the film.

It does not appear though that the other characters of Bricksburg are quite as thrilled with this relationship. Batman and Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi look like they become that couple that is so overt in their affection that they become insufferable to be around. And the flim' prtagonist hilariously pukes in response to reinforce this.

Batman falls fast and hard for Queen Watevera Wa'Nabi and that will likely make things all the tougher for him if the relationship ends. And end it might because it appears that Batman may be blinded by love in this situation.

In the beginning of this clip Elizabeth Banks' Wyldstyle says that she is getting evil vibes from the Queen and the previous trailer showed that Emmet needs to rescue his friends from a dangerous star system where the an alien queen rules. So perhaps the marriage between Bats and the Queen is just an evil plot on her part. Then again, she could just be misunderstood and it took the tender love of a crime fighting billionaire to cure her of her despotic ways.

The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part picks up five years after the events of the first film and everything is no longer awesome. With Finn's sister now allowed to play with the Lego sets, she brings her Duplo invaders that disrupt the harmony Bricksburg once enjoyed, destroying everything.
