This year, many movie studios are deciding not to show off their upcoming projects at Comic-Con, which kicks off in San Diego next month. Marvel, Sony, and Paramount are all skipping the event, each for slightly different reasons. As reports have indicated, Sony and Paramount decided that they don’t have enough “fanboy material” that would be worth the hundreds of thousands of dollars it costs to put on such a presentation. Marvel, on the other hand, is instead planning to take its movies to Disney’s own convention, D23, later this year.

That leaves only a few other key franchises, including Star Wars and The Hunger Games. But perhaps the biggest presentation to hit Hall H this year will be the one from Warner Bros.

It has been confirmed via the official Comic-Con website that WB will be presenting in Hall H on Saturday, July 11 from 10:30am – 12:00pm. No other details surrounding the presentation have been confirmed, except for a short description which says it will offer “a ‘sneak peek’ at a few upcoming releases from Warner Bros.”

So what could WB be planning for this big presentation? Warner Bros. has a number of projects set for release within the next year that might appeal to this type of audience. Pan, Creed, In the Heart of the Sea, Point Break, and The Conjuring 2 are all definitely high possibilities for sneak peeks at the panel.

Of course, that’s to say nothing of Warner Bros.’ upcoming DC films, which are undoubtedly going to have a huge presence at Comic-Con this year. A couple weeks back, Lex Luthor actor Jesse Eisenberg confirmed that he’ll be attending SDCC 2015, and also added that he will be part of WB’s Hall H panel. If Eisenberg is showing up, than it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to assume that some of his other Batman v Superman co-stars, like Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and Gal Gadot – all three of whom made a brief appearance last year – will be on-hand as well.

Not only that, but it seems likely we’ll be seeing new footage from Batman v Superman along with our first official look at Suicide Squad. Just recently at CineEurope, WB revealed sizzle reels for both, and it wouldn’t be surprising if they showed something similar here. But that doesn’t include all of DC’s projects, of which there are many in the pipeline.

Recent rumors have said we might finally get an official announcement for a Batman solo film, with its rumored title being The Batman, at Comic-Con. Not only that, but if recent rumors are to be believed, we might see the new Green Lantern actor(s) as well. Again, for now this is all rumor and speculation, but don’t be shocked if WB ends up unveiling quite a bit regarding its upcoming slate of DC movies (especially since Marvel will be a no-show).
