Sony's Venom and The Girl in the Spider's Web are among the first projects taking advantage of Sony Pictures Post Production Services' newly expanded facilities. Sony recently opened three new theater-style studios and two upgraded mix stages on the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver City.

Located inside the Stage 6 facility, the studios offer digital projectors and projection screens. Theater 1 is equipped for sound design and mixing with two Avid S6 consoles and immersive Dolby Atmos capabilities, while Theater 3 is geared toward sound design with a single S6. Theater 2 is set up for remote visual effects and color grading review.

For mixing features and high-end television projects. Sony has additionally upgraded two mix stages — Mix Stage 6 and Mix Stage 7 — each featuring two S6 consoles, six Avid Pro Tools digital audio workstations and Christie digital cinema projectors.

In all, Sony Pictures Post Production Services now has 11 mix stages, the largest being the Cary Grant Theater.
