Disney has had a decent track record in recent years with the live action remakes of their classic animated movies, and the next one on the slate is Beauty and the Beast. From what the House of Mouse has shown so far, the new take on the classic fairy tale looks like it be both faithful to the 1991 animated movie and have a few unique twists of its own. Now with less than two months to go until release, Walt Disney Studios has dropped the final_Beauty and the Beast.

If you grew up in the 1990s or later, or are just an all-around Disney enthusiast, chances are you already know Beauty and the Beast's basic plot quite well. Nevertheless, it's fun to see the live action Beauty and the Beast's newest trailer cycle through the main beats. The intelligent Belle struggling with living in her small, narrow-minded village, the brutish Gaston sweet-talking himself in front of a mirror, Belle deciding to stay in the Beast's castle so that her father can be freed, etc. The sights are all familiar, yet different due to the live action element (duh) and the other minor twists this re-telling has brought in. That said, if you're one of the few people who has never seen the original Beauty and the Beast, this trailer basically lays out almost every major thing that will happen. Sorry!

The Beauty and the Beast teaser released last July did a solid job setting up the movie's primarily location, while the November trailer showed moviegoers how the movie's enchanted characters will look. Along with laying out the story again, this trailer covered the musical element fantastically in the latter half, as Ariana Grande and John Legend's cover of "Beauty and the Beast" was heard, the lovely song that the eponymous protagonists dance to while dressed in their finest attire. Mixed in were snippets of musical numbers like "Be Our Guest" and "Gaston." Obviously we won't knowhow this whole production turns out until we're seated in the theater later this year, but it wouldn't be at all surprising if Beauty and the Beast turns out to be one of Disney's biggest hits this year, if not one of 2017's biggest blockbusters overall.

Like its 1991 animated predecessor, Beauty and the Beast will follow Belle as she is trapped within the Beast's castle and learns about its magical inhabitants and the curse that changes them. As time passes, she also falls in love with the Beast, who isn't as animalistic as he looks on the outside. The main cast includes Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Audra McDonald as Garderobe, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette, Josh Gad as LeFou and Stanley Tucci as Cadenza.
