Tom Cruise is certainly piling up the projects. The world’s biggest movie star has just finished up shooting on Mena, and is now hard at work on a sequel to Jack Reacher, and with Paramount pushing for a sequel to Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, which is set to shoot very, very soon in Cruise’s future, it seems that the legendary actor may slot another flick in before he does return to Ethan Hunt.

The word over at Variety is that Cruise is eyeing up Jason Fuchs-scripted Luna Park, a project that has his Edge Of Tomorrow director Doug Liman also attached. Fuchs, who wrote this year’s Pan (which we loved, even if many others didn’t), wrote the latest script for Luna Park, which is described as a heist movie set on the moon.

“LUNA PARK’S” PLOT REVOLVES AROUND A GROUP OF RENEGADE EMPLOYEES WHO VENTURE TO THE MOON TO STEAL AN ENERGY SOURCE.

Fuchs is in demand – the young writer also has the Wonder Woman movie set up at Warner Bros. with Gal Gadot leading.

The plan is to shoot Luna Park in the early new year before Cruise and co. set about shooting Mission: Impossible 6 next summer.

Paramount and Skydance, the same people behind the Mission: Impossible franchise, are also producing Luna Park, so accommodating dates and schedules should not be an issue.
