Thor The Dark World- Marvel Releases New Trailer During Marvels Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D

During Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. last night, those lucky enough to be watching got another glimpse inside Marvel’s next cinematic venture, Thor: The Dark World.



In this trailer, Thor speaks about how ever 5,000 years, the worlds align allowing an ancient darkness to strike. The ancient darkness that Thor speaks of are the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim and their ruler Malekith, played by Doctor Who’s Christopher Eccleston.

This exclusive look inside the film gives us a little bit closer look at Malekith and the true danger that he poses to not just Asgard, but those of us who reside here on Midgard as well.

“Thor…Prepare yourself. Your family, your world…will be extinguished.” Malekith says.
Thor will do anything to protect the world, and those he loves; even if it means trusting someone as untrustworthy as his brother Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston.

Malekith, on the other hand, will do everything in his power to bring darkness to the world; even if that means using Jane Foster to get to Thor.

In order to save all of humanity from Malekith and his army of darkness, Thor and Loki will have to work together, as crazy as that may sound, and find a way to push back the oncoming storm of darkness before it is too late.


Thor: The Dark World will be released in theaters on November, 8th, 2013.
